These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") govern the sales of products and services by UNICA MD. UNICA MD is registered in accordance with the Quebec Business Corporations Act. By placing an order on this website, you agree to comply with these GTC. If you do not agree with these GTC, please do not make any purchases on this website.
UNICA MD offers a range of products and services related to aesthetic medicine and beauty care. The products and services offered by UNICA MD comply with the quality and safety standards set out in Quebec's Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
To place an order, you must follow the instructions provided on our website. You must provide accurate and complete information when placing the order. Once you have placed an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This confirmation will include a summary of your order and payment details.
The prices of products and services are indicated on our website in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable sales taxes, in accordance with the Quebec Sales Tax Act (QST) and the Federal Goods and Services Tax Act (GST) of Canada. Payment can be made using the accepted payment methods indicated on our website. Payment must be made in full before the delivery of products or the provision of services.
Delivery times vary depending on the products ordered and their availability. Estimated delivery times will be indicated when placing the order. Products will be delivered to the address you provided when placing the order. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
UNICA MD is committed to providing high-quality products and services in accordance with Quebec's Consumer Protection Act (CPA). If a delivered product has a quality defect, you have the right, in accordance with the CPA, to request an exchange or a credit for the corresponding amount. UNICA MD reserves the right to verify the defect before approving the exchange or credit.
Requests for credit or exchange must be made by contacting us at the following email address: info@unicamd.ca, providing full details of the defect or order error, along with the invoice and photos if necessary. The request must be made within ten (10) business days of receiving the merchandise.
Exceptions: Certain specific products or services may be excluded from the exchange or credit policy due to their nature, such as all topical products. Exclusions will be clearly indicated on our website at the time of purchase.
You can cancel an online order as long as you have not received the purchase confirmation. If you have already received the purchase confirmation, you may obtain a credit by following the steps above.
The dates related to offers, prices, or availability of products/services offered online may change without notice. We work tirelessly to present only available products/services. However, it is possible that we may not be able to provide a selected product/service due to an inventory shortage. In such a case, you will be notified within 48 hours, and we will offer you the opportunity to cancel the purchase of that product/service or replace it with another.
While we strive to maintain the accuracy of the information presented on our website, we reserve the right to revise the price or description of a product/service, cancel, or refuse an order for a product/service with an incorrect price or description. Corrections may be made after an order is accepted.
UNICA MD collects sales taxes on products/services ordered through our website.
The GST (Goods and Services Tax) corresponding to 5% (Canada) of the order value is added to orders.
The QST (Quebec Sales Tax) corresponding to 9.975% (Quebec) of the order value is added to orders.
Consultations with nurses and laser technicians are free. Consultations with doctors and injecting nurses are subject to a consultation fee of $100 + taxes. If a treatment is performed on the day of your consultation, the consultation fee of $100 + taxes will be fully credited.
During the appointment booking process, you were informed of our cancellation policy. If you wish to reschedule or cancel an appointment, a notice of 48 business hours is required. A fee of $100 will be charged to your credit card for the following reasons:
• You do not show up for your appointment;
• You do not cancel your appointment within 48 business hours before it.
UNICA MD reserves the right to charge an amount of $100 to your credit card for the above-mentioned conditions.
In no event shall UNICA MD be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from the use of its products or services. However, our liability is limited to the terms of Quebec's CPA.
These GTC are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec, including the CPA, QST, and GST. Any dispute arising from these GTC will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the province of Quebec.
